tópico Warning - Poor network signal and no solution provided na Pós-pagos

I signed up to a 2-year SIM only contract with Vodafone at their CascaiShopping store. When we got home we found that we couldn't make or receive calls inside or outside our home.

We returned to the store a few days later, well within the usual 14-day cancellation period and we were told all we could do was raise a compliant or pay €700 each to cancel. We made the compliant and heard nothing. We made 2 further complaints at the store and heard nothing. Months later after many, many calls and messages we finally got someone to respond to us via this forum.

Vodafone have told us that there are no anomalies in our area and as the service is not location specific we will be charged a cancellation fee. Vodafone believe it is an acceptable level of service to provide communications devices that cannot be used at home.

For clarification other providers such as MEO and NOS both provide a usable connection at our home.

If anyone sees this be warned, do not trust that Vodafone will provide a good signal or a fair service. We will now have to hand over the €100's of euros because we need to have functional mobile phones.
