Today, I signed a Vodafone postpaid contract without being informed that the maximum internet speed was capped at 10 Mbps.
The agent explained other features like internet allowance, calling minutes, and roaming, I checked with the agent whether the speed was 5G and they confirmed it. The terms were written in Portuguese, which I didn’t understand, so I relied on the agent’s words.
It’s only been a few hours since I signed, and I find the internet speed inadequate. Can someone explain if there’s a remedy available under EU consumer law for canceling the contract?
